This Beer Label was designed for my
husband's Home Brew. The dog
cartoon was done by me as well as
the layout.
The client sent me his logo of the creature
and told me he'd like to have 2 sided cards
but didn't know what to put on the back. He
wanted to keep it simple and clean. I was
able to use the art given and pulled the claw
out for use on the back to unite both sides.
The Client sent me several pictures of himself for
use on his 2 sided post card mailer. The name of his
Company is Santa For Hire. When I flipped through
the images I knew this one had to be the front. We
created a sharp eye catching front, promoting both
children and adult parties. On the back we used a
traditional image to show the clients versatility. The
cute page curl reveals Santa's list. A place for an
address label and postage are all incorporated in
the design so nothing gets covered.
This quarter page ad is promoting 3
different locations with emphasis on having
the viewer visit the website or call for more
information. This way the ad can stay clean
and the text large. If all the information
about when and where had been used the
ad would have been too crowded and lost
on the magazine page.
This quarter page ad is trying to fit into it's
application, which was an elegant magazine
for the Capital of the State without going over
the top. The client still wanted to promote
the store and metaphysical classes but didn't
want to go all "New Age" in this advertising
venue. I used the logo and colors that are
associated with the location, but again, kept
it clean and easy to read. The logo of the
moon offered a nice place to list  key items of
the store without having to give them top
billing.
The client purchased the back of a "New Age"
magazine for the months of Sept-Nov. She
wanted eye catching. I worked with the magazine
graphic designer and they choose a front cover
and spine shade that complimented our ad.
Sticking with the traditional Halloween theme, I
used a very decorative font  to promote the top
events. I was able to reuse the logo moon with
the list of items. I felt that a full color full page ad
needed some pictures to help with the design. I
took a few pictures the location and used 2 just to
draw attention to the services offered. I know
personally this ad has had rave reviews and
attracted a lot of interest to the store.
This is a logo for a bowling team. I illustrated
several ideas then the team voted on this design.
Once the choice had been made, I used the
computer to fill in the design and set it up to be
embroidered onto bowling shirts for the team.
The client supplied everything except the image.
She had an idea of what she was looking for which
helped, because I'm not familiar with Pilates. The
colors are muted shades of blues and purples to
create a calming feeling, much like the classes are.
This flier has a tab bottom. The tabs have all the
important information and there are 10 tabs. This is
a great way to get more for your money when it
comes to printing. Also a great product to hang on
bulletin boards in colleges, health food stores, and
town hall.
